Terms and Conditions
Once you have paid to enter Role Play Rascals whether in person or over the phone or via our booking system (or you are purchasing on behalf of others) you will be agreeing to follow all of our terms and conditions and to abide by the rules of play which can be found under the 'Rules' tab of the website.
Full supervision and responsibility for children falls to the parent/guardian they came with at all times. We are not a supervised play centre.
Tickets & Transfers

The ticket price per play session includes admission for ONE child and ONE adult only. If more than one adult is accompanying a child you will need to purchase additional adult tickets. During weekday term time admission includes TWO adults per ONE child.

The ticket entitles entry for one allocated play session for the time and date booked only lasting 120 minutes.

If the maximum capacity has been reached and additional visitors in your party attend without having booked, Role Play Rascals reserves the right to refuse entry.

The ticket price does not include food or drink.

A child who cannot yet walk is free if attending with a paying sibling.

Once a child can walk unaided a ticket must be purchased for them.

A parent or guardian must be over the age of 18 years to accompany a child.

Our play area is exclusively for children who can walk up to 7 years. You are welcome to bring older siblings to aid younger siblings but our equipment and costumes must only be used by children up to 7.

We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by children over 7 who use and damage the play equipment.

We do not accept unaccompanied adults (adults with no children) into the centre and everyone under 16 years old must be with an accompanying adult. Exceptions to this are staff and volunteers that work at Role Play Rascals.

All tickets for play sessions, passes, or birthday party deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

We will happily transfer your booking to another day/time of your choice if you cannot make the session you are booked on to (unless the session you request is already fully booked) if given 12 hours notice. This has to be 12 hours notice of the start time of the session.

If a session transfer is requested this has to be re-booked within 3 months of the originally booked date. We are unable to transfer a booking to another date more than once.

Gift vouchers can be purchased from reception and are valid for 12 months. These vouchers are only to be used for a session. Any bookings are subject to availability. Bookings can be made over the phone or in reception.

We cannot accept defaced, altered or duplicated vouchers.

Play session times and prices are listed on our website and are subject to change.

You can only enter the centre if you have a valid ticket for that day/time.

We take group bookings providing we have space to do so and our maximum capacity is not reached. If the maximum amount of spaces is exceeded we reserve the right to cancel and refund your booking.

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or replaced if lost.

Discount codes sent to subscribers are only redeemable by the person receiving the email and must not be shared.
Closure/Cancellations

If deemed necessary for safety and/or security reasons we reserve the right to close the centre as a whole, individual areas, or the cafe during or prior to your visit. Should this occur we will be happy to re-book you free of charge on to another session.
Sessions

Some sessions are only bookable for exclusive use and birthday parties and are not available as a standard play session.

You may turn up at any time during the play session you have booked onto however you will still be required to leave at the end of that play session regardless of how long you have been in the centre for.

Party Bags, presents, decorations and food must not be brought to a standard play session. Our Party packages may be more suitable for your needs.
Grievances

Any complaint or grievance must be brought up immediately with a member of staff. If this cannot be resolved there and then, a written letter must be received within one week of the event in order for us to proceed.

Party Terms and Conditions
By booking a party at Role Play Rascals you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. At least 2 adults must always be in the play area to supervise.

A deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking any party. This is non-refundable.

The balance should be paid in full two weeks prior to the party.

Menu choices if applicable to your party need to be received two weeks prior to the party.

All parties are strictly 2 hours.

Maximum of 50 people, this includes adults, children and babies.

Maximum of 30 children, this includes the birthday child.

The maximum age for any party guest is 7 years. Older siblings of the birthday child are welcome to come and assist, but are not permitted to play on the equipment.

Parents hosting a DIY party can arrive 30 minutes before the start of the party to set up.

If your have chosen the catered option, you can arrive 10 minutes before the start of the party so you can greet your guests.

Guests are to arrive at the start of the session. This is when the gate will be opened.

Final numbers are needed two weeks in advance of the party day for both children and adults. No refunds will be made if numbers change.

Under no circumstances will parties be refunded once paid- this includes sickness.

No outside entertainers are allowed.

No hot food is permitted in Role Play Rascals under any circumstances.

We do not allow drinks to be brought into Role Play Rascals. Our café will be open as usual during the party.

Strictly no alcohol is allowed in Role Play Rascals.

No food or drink is to be taken into the play areas.
-
No face paints or glitter.
