Privacy Statement

Role Play Rascals takes your privacy seriously and treat all personal data you give us with great care.

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to any data that you provide to us either on our website, by email, by phone or in Role Play Rascals. You are accepting the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use Role Play Rascals’s website or give us any of your personal data in any way. We reserve the right to modify or amend the terms of our Privacy Policy from time to time without notice. Your continued use of our site/ phone calls or in person following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

 

What type of information do we collect?

When you book or subscribe to our mailing list for any of our services a play session, party, passes or educational visits via our website we collect the personal information you give us from the booking form. Your name, e mail address, address, and telephone number.

 

When you book a party with us we will request additional information from you, the name of the birthday child, their age, the number of children attending the party and their names.

 

If you contact us directly via telephone or e mail we will create a record of this enquiry and it's contents electronically.

 

By visiting our website or by giving us any personal information you are giving us consent (see article 6 of the GDPR) to process your personal data e.g. name, ip address, phone number, email address (although not limited too). Role Play Rascals does not process any other data received by you nor do we hold any credit/debit card information. Role Play Rascals may need to contact you using the information you have provided us.  Your information will not be passed onto any third party.

 

Why do we collect and use this information?

  1. To process your booking and secure your place on the play session, or to secure your party booking slot. This also enables us to prevent overcrowding and operate safe visitor numbers.

  2. In order to comply with health and safety and fire regulations we keep a register of visitors.

  3. When you book with us the system will automatically generate and send you a booking confirmation e mail. We will also use your e mail address to contact you should we need to cancel a session you are booked on to. If you send us an enquiry via e mail we will respond to you via the e mail address you contacted us from.

  4. If you have booked a session and supplied your email address we may send you information, news, special offers and marketing about Role Play Rascals. You can unsubscribe from this mailing list at any point.

  5. When you book a party we may contact you to confirm the number and names of children attending a party so we know how many chairs and tables to set up and how much food is required.

  6. We use booking information such as how many people are attending which session and on which days to help us with internal business reporting to see how we can manage numbers and cater for demand.

  7. To inform you of any changes to our website, services or goods and products.

  8. Should we close or cancel a session(s) for any reason, we would need to use your contact details to notify you.

  9. We may contact you to notify you regarding your account or to troubleshoot problems with your account.

 

 

Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis

-If Role Play Rascals sell any or all of our business to the buyer. You will be notified if this occurs and be given the opportunity to opt out.

-Where we are legally required by law to disclose your personal information.

-To aid fraud protection and reduce the risk of fraud.

 

 

Data Subjects Rights

Customers can upon request ask for access to their personal data or deletion of their personal data. If we are not contacted by our customers then this data will be stored for 3 years. Please contact Role Play Rascals if you would like us to delete all your personal details from our system. If you believe we hold inaccurate information about you please contact us by e mail. You can contact the ICO if you are concerned about how your data is being processed.

 

 

Children

Role Play Rascals will always seek parental consent before processing any data on their children. We would only process this data if it is necessary for the outcome e.g. booking a child’s Birthday party either by phone or in Role Play Rascals. This is to ensure the child’s data is fully protected and will not be used for any marketing purposes.

 

 

How do you store, use, share and disclose your site visitors' personal information?

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

Third Party Links

We may include links to third parties on our website. Where we provide a link it does not mean that we endorse or approve that site's policy towards visitor privacy. You should review their privacy policy before sending them any personal data.

 

CCTV

Role Play Rascals operates CCTV cameras on its premises for the safety and security of our visitors. The cameras operate 24 hours a day. The cameras are monitored by staff for security and training purposes only and is limited to uses that do not violate the individual's reasonable expectation to privacy. We will report directly to the parents/ carers of any incidents which are not acceptable to us (Refer to our rules of play) Access to the images will only be by staff of Role Play Rascals. We will keep the images for two weeks, after which all footage will be deleted. The footage will be automatically deleted by the CCTV system. The customers should contact managerial staff if they have any questions about the CCTV . Should we need to keep any CCTV footage of any incidents / accidents in case of legal dispute. We will hold the footage until legal proceedings have concluded.
