covid-19

THIS PAGE IS RELEVANT UP TO AND INCLUDING 18TH JULY.  THIS WILL BE UPDATED IN LINE WITH ANY GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES ISSUED AT A LATER DATE.

We will be running bubble sessions for your family and friends (maximum of 12 people in line with latest government guidance). If you would like to bring more than 6 people please be aware that you will need to stay in separate groups of up to 6 and maintain social distancing from other groups (unless you are from only 2 households, in which case you can all mix freely).  Each group will be given coloured wristbands to help with distancing.

There will be a hand sanatiser station upon arrival and plenty of soap available to wash your hands with.

All staff will be taking daily lateral flow tests and will maintain social distancing at all times.

There will be a limited number of sessions available each day as we will be allowing time between each session to thoroughly clean.

We clean our props and surfaces with an antiviral and antibacterial cleaner that protects for up to 7 days.  This leaves a residue that kills viruses and bacteria with a 7 day residual efficacy.

We have an abundance of outfits at the centre which means clean ones can be put out for each and every session then removed and steam cleaned.

All equipment and props including plastic face masks, plastic shoes, shopping trolleys, shopping baskets, dinosaur feet, binoculars, cars etc, will be cleaned and sanitised before each session.

An enhanced cleaning routine will be in place with increased frequency of surface cleaning including disinfection of common touch points, toilets and high contact surfaces. The centre will be cleaned between booked sessions.

The sensory area will remain closed for now in line with current guidelines.

The quantity of equipment will be scaled down from what you would normally find.

The items in the supermarket will be swapped out at each session for new packaging.

We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment to identify, assess and manage risk of COVID-19 and put control measures in place to control the risk.

We will take your contact details upon arrival and keep these for a period of 21 days to support the NHS track and trace system.

Our venue is pre-bookable only with set time sessions.

A face covering must be worn by anyone over the age of 11 unless you are unable to do so because of a physical or mental illness or disability, if wearing a face covering causes severe distress or if you are assisting someone who relies on lip reading to communicate.  Your mask can be taken off to eat or drink or take medication whilst here.

We ask that if you are feeling ill, are showing signs of the virus or live in the same household as someone with the virus, please do not visit the centre.

We are really excited to be able to open again and are confident that we can offer a fun play session in a safe clean environment for you and your family and friends. If you have any further questions or concerns prior to your visit please get in touch. See you all soon!
